In the end of the Nineteenth Century, in London, Robert Angier, his beloved wife Julia McCullough and Alfred Borden are friends and assistants of a magician. The story revolves around the lost planet Shada, on which the Time Lords built a prison for defeated would-be conquerors of the universe.
